Who actually works the Monaco Yacht Show

What's easy to miss from photographs is that the show is fundamentally a working event. Brokers are closing deals. Shipyards are courting the next commission. Designers are meeting clients they otherwise only speak to over video calls. It gives the week a different texture from a typical luxury event, genuine business happening in plain sight, dressed as a boat show.

Is the Monaco Yacht Show worth visiting?

You don't need to be in the market for a yacht for the show to be worth attending. The craftsmanship on display, the scale of what's achievable in yacht design, and Monaco itself during a week built entirely around the harbour are their own reward, closer to a design and culture event than a straightforward trade show, however the calendar labels it.
