How to get to the Grand Palais

The Grand Palais sits on Avenue Winston Churchill in the 8th arrondissement, between the Champs-Élysées and the Seine. Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau on lines 1 and 13 is the closest Métro, and Invalides is a walk across the Pont Alexandre III. Both airports connect by RER and taxi, with Orly generally quicker for the Left Bank.

The 8th puts you within walking distance of the Grand Palais at the highest prices of fair week. The Marais places you among the gallery openings, which for many visitors is the more useful base. Saint-Germain sits between the two and is a short walk across the river.
